I definitely agree with the first part of his quote. My only question is what kind of needs is he talking about? If he's talking about the need that everyone has for salvation, then yes I agree. If he's talking about a kind of social gospel where our primary aim is to fight hunger and poverty and end disease, then I believe he's dead wrong.
